WELCOME

Hey There!

And welcome to my little corner of Neocities! I wanted to create a nice, cozy space here on the web where I can share my artwork, my thoughts, and personal written takes on some of my favorite books, pop-culture interests, and hobbies without all the diversions that come from using social media at times. Learning how to code this neocities website is becoming a nice new hobby for me, and I appreciate the sense of nostalgia that it brings from today's social media aesthetic. This website is currently under construction so you should notice continual updates each time you visit. So with that dear reader, if you’ve stumbled upon my page, thank you so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your visit and hope you enjoy what you see!

UPDATES

March 8th, 2026

The site is back up! I've finally settled on a layout that aligns more closely with my vision, at least for now. I've created a new links page, but it currently only contains links to my social media pages, with no outbound links yet. There's still a lot of work to do; I have a few additions planned for my blog and reading list pages. The setup for the art page is okay, but I eventually want to turn it into a modal image gallery. However, figuring out how to code that is easier said than done, but I’ll get there eventually. I'm hopeful that, over time, this website will really start to take shape. Until then, I’ll keep you posted!

Hello! I'm back with another update. I’ve revised the content of my initial post on my "Reading List" and added my overall thoughts on the book "I Was Abducted by Aliens, and Now I'm in a Rom-Com." Regarding my website, I plan to add more content in the future, including a journal, counter, guestbook, and more. For now, my next goal is to change the layout of the 'Index' page and 'Homepage.' Just wanted to keep you informed!

I'm still tweaking some things in the background, but I have the link along with my first post listed for my new "reading list" page. I also made sure to add a link to some of my favorite music tracks; so if you have a Spotify account, click the link to listen or just look up the song on whatever platform you get your music from.

I'm a little frustrated at the moment. Just when I thought I had the coding right and the layout looking the way I wanted, things started to look off again. I think the issue is that I have several ideas I want to implement for this site, but I lack the energy and enthusiasm to do them right now. I'll still be working on the layout and other sections of this site in the background; in fact, I also want to create a page called "reading list," where I will post any books I am currently reading or have finished, along with a few music tracks I'm listening to at the moment. There are quite a few personal projects I’d like to focus more on, but I also need to consider gaining more clients for my side hustle, finding and applying for an entry-level IT position, and studying for and earning my certification. So, my Neocities website might look like this for a while until I get everything together. The one page I'll keep updated is the "gallery" page, but you can also view my artwork on Instagram, Cara, etc. I'll ensure my social links are always available. Hope you all have a great winter break—see you in 2026!

I added two "new" thumbnails to the gallery page.

The link to the art gallery is finally available. I've also started working on the "blog" section of my site, although, like the "about" section, it's currently empty. Regarding my art, I plan to add more content to the gallery page eventually, including older pieces from previous years. I also hope to include a guestbook and perhaps a visitor counter someday. I'm still working on this website, so if you visit and notice some changes, just know I'm still tweaking the layout to achieve the look I'm aiming for. To new visitors, thank you for stopping by. Please consider following me if you can.

I'm currently working on the layout and overall feel of the site. I'm trying to find a design that fits well; so far, the layout is responsive, meaning it looks good on both tablets and phones. However, I'm still not entirely satisfied with how the site appears on a regular desktop screen, which is definitely an issue I want to address.

In the meantime, I fixed the coding for the images on the homepage and replaced the link to my LinkTree with direct links to my individual social media pages. I'm still working on the other pages of the site, so I hope to have those links up soon.

About this Site

This website has been designed for optimal viewing on a 1920 x 1080 screen. To better your experience, I recommend accessing it on a standard desktop, as it is not fully compatible with mobile device browsers. This website also uses an Iframe, and may be susceptible to caching. Some design elements, such as the background image on the main page and various wallpapers, were created using the Canva application. However, the artwork in my gallery showcases my work, drawn by MY hand.

Regarding the content featured on my website I try to keep it as SFW as possible. However, as an adult woman, I recognize that certain subject matter, particularly from my blog and reading list, may include themes that are not suitable for younger viewers. Be advised, some of the topics I address may involve sensitive issues related to racism, religion, violence, sex, and other contemporary social matters. Additionally, any opinions expressed in my blog and reading list are personal viewpoints and are intended to reflect my individual perspective. I encourage you to independently explore any sources and engage in your own research, as I prefer to foster an environment of understanding rather than debate.
